Terms of Service
Who this agreement is between
This is between you (the local business owner or authorised representative) and Forge, operated by Rishiidev. By submitting any form on this site, you confirm that you have authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the business named in the form.
The summary
The four interactions
1. Free 7-Point Audit
Free. No obligation. We deliver a one-page private write-up within 48 hours. If we cannot deliver within 48 hours for any reason within our control, you can ask for the audit to be cancelled with no further contact from us. The audit is opinion, not a guarantee of any business outcome.
2. Private preview
Free. You send a Google Business Profile link. We build a private preview and send it to you within 24 hours. The preview is for your evaluation only. You do not have the right to publish, redistribute, or claim authorship of the preview, and we retain all intellectual property in it. If you choose to proceed to the launch package, the preview becomes the first draft of the deliverable.
3. Launch website (₹9,999 one-time)
If you approve the preview and want to proceed:
- You pay 50% upfront to reserve your launch slot and start customisation.
- You pay the remaining 50% before the domain goes live.
- We deliver the website within 48 hours of approval, deposit, and receipt of the required domain access.
- If we miss the 48-hour launch deadline for a reason within our control, your deposit is refunded in full.
- The launch package includes one revision, defined as changes to the agreed page. New pages, new sections, or a complete change of direction are out of scope and quoted separately.
- The launch package includes 14 days of bug support, defined as fixing something that fails to work as agreed. New feature requests, design refreshes, or content updates beyond the agreed scope are not bugs.
Your domain is registered in your name. The website files can be transferred to you after the final payment.
4. Operator plan (₹1,499 / ₹3,999 / ₹7,999 per month)
If you subscribe to the Operator plan after launch:
- The plan is monthly. You can cancel any month with no penalty.
- The plan includes hosting, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring, security updates, and the change quota listed for your tier.
- Changes outside the quota are quoted separately before any work begins.
- Forge accepts a maximum of 8 active Operator clients at a time. When full, new enquiries are waitlisted.
- On cancellation, your website continues to be served until the end of the paid period. After that, we archive the project and you retain ownership of your domain and the project files.
What we promise
- The preview will not be a copy of another business's website.
- Your domain will be registered in your name, not ours.
- Your content will not be reused for another client without your written permission.
- Communication will be honest. If we are full, late, or unsure, we will say so.
What we ask in return
- You provide accurate information in the form fields.
- You respond to reasonable approval and access requests within the timeline we agree on.
- You do not use the preview, the audit, or the website in a way that infringes on a third party's rights (for example, by using copyrighted images you do not own).
- You do not resell the launch website as a template to other businesses.
What we do not promise
Honest list, no fine print:
- We do not guarantee that the website will rank on Google.
- We do not guarantee that the website will generate leads, calls, or revenue.
- We do not guarantee a specific number of customers from the website.
- We do not guarantee that the 48-hour launch deadline will be met if the delay is caused by missing domain access, missing assets, or slow client feedback. The deadline is conditional on approval, deposit, and the required inputs being in our hands.
Refunds
- Free services (preview, audit, waitlist): nothing to refund.
- Launch deposit: refundable in full if we miss the 48-hour launch deadline for a reason within our control. Not refundable if the delay is on the client's side (missing access, missing assets, late approvals).
- Final 50%: not refundable once the website is live and delivered. We will fix any agreed bugs during the 14-day support period.
- Operator plan: cancel any month. We do not refund the current month, but we do not auto-renew after cancellation.
Intellectual property
Until full payment, the preview and the website remain Forge intellectual property. After full payment for the launch package, the website files become yours. The underlying tooling, components, and methods remain Forge intellectual property. The Operator plan grants you a licence to use the live website; it does not transfer the underlying tooling.
Termination
We can refuse service to anyone. We will not refuse service on the basis of protected characteristics. If you ask us to stop, we stop, and we delete what we hold about you within seven days.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge's total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you have paid Forge in the twelve months before the claim. Forge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost business opportunities.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved first through good-faith conversation. If that fails, through arbitration in the city where Forge operates.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. If you have an active engagement with us, we will email you before the change takes effect.
